Lions center Frank Ragnow hurt his knee and ankle in last Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers, but it doesn’t look like it is going to keep him from playing this Sunday. Reporters at the open portion of Friday’s practice noted that Ragnow, who is also listed with toe and back injuries, is back on the field after being listed as out of practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Head coach Dan Campbell also signaled that he’ll be doing the snapping when he spoke to reporters at a press conference. “You know Frank. Frank will be ready to go, you’re…
Veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson has left little doubt that he will return for the 2024 NFL season. But in his latest tweet, Peterson didn’t seem 100% confident that it will be with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Peterson addressed his NFL future on his X (formerly Twitter) account on January 25. “In control of my Destiny, Never in Doubt..,” wrote Peterson. Patrick Peterson Under Contract for the 2024 Season When the Steelers signed Peterson to a two-year contract last offseason, the deal was backloaded. The Phoenix Suns continue their surge up the Western Conference standings, thanks to seven straight wins that has seen them climb all the way up to fifth. With a 26-18 record and Kevin Durant just named as a starter in this year’s All-Star game, the organization has put a difficult start to this campaign behind them. It was not so long ago that Bradley Beal couldn’t stay healthy, most of the bench players weren’t really helping and the Suns were in danger of falling out of the play-in positions out West. A lot of their recent turnaround is rightly…
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has emerged as a surprising target for Newcastle United this month, with the Magpies eyeing up a loan deal for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder. Despite being a first team regular for the last few years under both Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has slipped down the pecking order at Tottenham under his new manager, Ange Postecoglou. A number of teams have been linked with the Danish midfielder, most prominently Italian sides Napoli and Juventus (Kick). It is thought Spurs would prefer to sell Hojbjerg, with a ÂŁ20m price tag on his head (talkSPORT). However,…
Pittsburgh Steelers fans are probably still gritting their teeth knowing that Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is probably going to prevail over TJ Watt in the race for Defensive Player of the Year, but they might explode after hearing where Rich Eisen has the premier linebacker in his ranking. It would be between Myles Garrett and {Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher} Maxx Crosby even though I know Watt was superb,” the television and radio host opined, per Steelers Depot’s Alex Kozora. “Gosh, I would eventually cast my ballot for Garrett.” Eisen is continuing a trend of pundits…
