Jared Goff is the talk of Detroit these days, and that is new to him, even though he has played in a Super Bowl before. Goff reacted to video of Detroit Red Wings fans chanting his name during Thursday’s game, and was clearly flattered. On Friday, he admitted that he had never experienced anything like this before during his time with the Los Angeles Rams, and loved playing in a city that “cares so much.” “It was pretty cool,” Goff said, via Jared Ramsey of the Detroit Free Press. “(It’s) pretty fun to be a part of a…
The Chicago Bears made noticeable improvements on defense during the 2023 season, especially after acquiring Montez Sweat in a trade with Washington. To reach the next level, though, at least one Bears insider believes they will need to emphasize finding their “missing piece” — a 3-technique defensive tackle — for 2024. Bears insider Courtney Cronin and several ESPN colleagues recently broke down the 2024 offseason picture for the Bears and identified the 3-tech position as their “under-the-radar priority” for next season. Cronin also listed a few high-end options for them to consider signing in free agency once the new…

In fact, so impressive was Booker’s feat that…
The Phoenix Suns are seriously considering a trade for Miles Bridges. Multiple sources have confirmed the Suns’ interest in the player. However, the potential deal comes with the baggage of Bridges facing felony domestic violence and child abuse charges. Insiders suggest that the Suns are confident about finalizing a deal for Bridges, considering the financial aspect. Bridges’ $7.9 million contract could be easily matched by sending players like Nassir Little and a veteran minimum player such as Chimezie Metu, Yuta Watanabe, or Bol Bol to Charlotte. Despite Bridges’ impressive on-court performance this season, the Suns are aware of…
Snoop Dogg has several ideas on how Mike Tomlin can help the Pittsburgh Steelers break their cycle of mediocrity. Head coach Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers are now in the midst of what projects to be a pivotal offseason for the course of the future of the franchise. His brother, Christian, played his college basketball at IUPUI, a university in downtown Indianapolis, but Pascal hasn’t been to his new home much outside of coming in for games with the Toronto Raptors. That is just one of the many new realities facing the Pacers star forward. Indiana acquired Siakam in a trade last week, bringing in the two-time All-Star in exchange for two players and three…
A backup guard? Swing tackle? Emergency center? Eligible tight end? What, exactly, was Spencer Anderson’s role as a rookie for the Pittsburgh Steelers? The answer, of course, is “all of the above.” Like all players, Anderson would love to earn a starting spot and stick to one position. But for now, he embraces his versatile role that kept him on the roster throughout his rookie NFL season. “Whether it’s play slot receiver or backup quarterback — that’d be pretty funny — no matter what it is, I am kind of just going with it,” Anderson…
